At 2.30 P.M. on the afternoon of 26th August, 2017, Anqing Foreign Language School observed the grand opening of the 2017 Training Session for Non-Government Funded Education. More than 150 attendees participated in the training will, including leaders with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau, leaders from Municipal Private Education Association as well as chairmen and principals with non-state-run schools from three districts and six counties in Anqing City. The conference was chaired by Section Chief Lu Shucheng with Private Education Section from Municipal Education& Sports Bureau.
First of all, President Liu Yue with Municipal Private Education Association made a keynote speech, in which Chairman Liu expressed welcome to everyone in plain yet sentimental languages. Also, Chairman Liu interpreted the significance of this plenary session.
Second of all, Discipline Committee Secretary Wang Xiaodong with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau delivered a speech in which Secretary Wang expressed congratulations to the convention on behalf of Director General Xu Xiaochun with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau. What’s more, Secretary Wang wished the general meeting a complete success beforehand.
Third of all, a brilliant lecture with the title of ‘New Policy of Non-Government Funded Education: Trend and Response’ was issued by Dr. Dong Shengzu, Research Institute Superintendent with Shanghai Private Education Teaching Academy& Minister of Legal Affairs with Private Education Association in China.
On the whole, the plenary session lasted over three hours. Experts explained splendidly and thoroughly. In the meantime, each and every one listened elaboratively and earnestly. Afterwards, everyone apprehended the background of the ‘New Promotion Act of Non-Government Funded Education’ and the influence on school running in non-publicly funded school, which shed light on the new policies to a certain extent for all of us.
